The KAMRUI AM21 is a compact mini PC built on the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, an 8-core, 16-thread processor with a 3.30 GHz base clock and a 4.90 GHz turbo. It ships with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD, a configuration aimed at multitasking, productivity, and light gaming.

Two M.2 slots and two Ethernet ports

Integrated AMD Radeon 680M graphics come attached to the 6900HX. The 680M manages light 3D workloads and 4K video playback.

The two Ethernet ports run at 2.5 Gbps and 1 Gbps, which helps with file sharing or running a home server. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 cover wireless peripherals and internet access, so a wired backhaul and wireless accessories can coexist without a hub. Four USB 3.0 ports, a second USB-C port, and a combo headphone jack sit alongside the two HDMI outputs for wired peripherals.

16GB of DDR5 arrives installed across two SODIMM slots, with 64GB the ceiling for demanding applications. One of the two M.2 slots holds the 512GB NVMe SSD; the second takes another drive, for up to 4TB of storage. There is no SATA or 2.5” bay, so a mechanical drive has nowhere to go.

Independent, hands-on reviews of the KAMRUI-branded AM21 with the Ryzen 9 6900HX are scarce. Most of the “KAMRUI AM21” coverage circulating online tests the newer Ryzen 7 8745HS configuration, which is a different machine that Starry Hope covers on its own KAMRUI AM21 8745HS page. The same chassis is also sold under the Nipogi label, so a fair amount of what reads like AM21 review footage is white-label coverage of identical hardware under another brand.

The Ryzen 9 6900HX is a Zen 3+ part that AMD launched in 2022. It pairs eight cores and sixteen threads at a 3.3 GHz base and a 4.9 GHz boost with the integrated Radeon 680M (RDNA 2). On PassMark’s multi-thread test it lands around 24,887, which in 2026 places it in the budget-to-midrange tier, comfortably ahead of the Intel N100/N150 class found in cheaper mini PCs yet a generation or two behind current Zen 4 and Zen 5 mobile chips. The 8745HS in the sibling model is itself the newer Zen 4 generation. That is ample headroom for everyday productivity, multi-monitor office work, 4K video playback, and light 1080p gaming on the 680M. Sustained heavy multi-threaded rendering or encoding is where the 2022 vintage shows.

Across 30 ratings on Amazon, the KAMRUI AM21 Mini PC averages 3.6 stars. A little over half the ratings are five stars and roughly a third land at one or two stars. When the unit works, buyers are enthusiastic about its speed, size, and quiet operation: a verified buyer named Paulandsharron called it “a perfect solution for general office support working extremely well with Windows 11 and all the standard O365 products,” and verified buyer Washington Irving praised it as a Linux machine that “Outperforms a $2K full size PC built in 2019,” noting everything worked out of the box on Debian except WiFi.

The low ratings cluster around hardware reliability. Multiple verified owners report units that died or became unstable: Justbeinjustin wrote that the machine was “amazing at first” but “then… it suddenly just stopped. Nothing, no power. No boot menu,” zach returned his after it “Would either freeze or restart before windows could even be configured,” and Gary Heitz described frequent blue-screen restarts. Verified buyer hardwear31 separately reported that the advertised multi-4K display support and WiFi 6 card were “what turned out to be defective,” with the display blacking out and WiFi running at a fraction of normal bandwidth. Best suited to office work and light gaming

The 6900HX build has room for 64GB of DDR5 and a second M.2 drive, and its two Ethernet ports and dual 4K HDMI outputs cover a small office desk. The KAMRUI AM21 8745HS puts a newer Ryzen 7 processor in the same chassis if you want more compute.
