The ASUS Chromebook Flip CX1 (CX1400) is a 14-inch convertible 2-in-1 Chromebook built around a 360-degree hinge and an FHD touchscreen. The Intel Pentium Silver N6000 with 8GB of RAM covers web browsing, word processing, classwork, and media.
The trade-offs are the modest N6000 chip and the 128GB of eMMC storage, which is soldered and cannot be swapped for an SSD. ChromeOS updates run through June 2031, so an existing unit stays usable for years of schoolwork.
