The BOSGAME E2 Plus is a small budget desk PC for office work, browsing, video calls and a multi-monitor setup, and it ships with Windows 11 Pro already installed. The “Ryzen 5 3501U” inside it is a 2019 part wearing a 2026 model number, which puts the machine in cheap-second-computer and reception-desk territory rather than anywhere near video rendering or modern games.
It ships with 8GB of DDR4-2400 on two SODIMM slots and a 256GB M.2 SATA SSD, both reachable and both replaceable. Memory goes to 32GB. Storage stays on the SATA interface, so a faster NVMe drive is not an option later. Wireless is Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, wired networking is Gigabit, and BOSGAME includes a VESA mount and screws so the box can hang behind a monitor.

The Ryzen 5 3501U is a renamed 2019 Ryzen 5 3500U
The 3501U is a four-core, eight-thread APU running between 2.1 GHz and 3.7 GHz with Radeon Vega 8 graphics. NotebookCheck’s Anil Ganti looked at the part when BOSGAME announced the E2 Plus in August 2026 and found nothing new in it: “Curiously, there appears to be little separating the Ryzen 5 3501U from the Ryzen 5 3500U that AMD introduced years earlier.” He notes that “the processor is based on AMD’s decidedly old Picasso silicon and Zen+ CPU architecture,” and concludes that “AMD appears to have bestowed a new model number upon what is effectively the same Picasso APU.”
For a buyer in 2026 that puts the E2 Plus near the bottom of the current x86 range, in the same performance bracket as an entry-level Intel N-series chip and well under the Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 mobile parts in mini PCs a few hundred dollars up the range. Office documents, spreadsheets, browser tabs, Zoom calls and 4K video playback sit comfortably inside its range, while heavier photo and video editing, code compiles and current games do not.
Memory, storage and the SATA ceiling
The two DDR4 SODIMM slots take up to 32GB in dual channel, and the 8GB it leaves the factory with is tight for Windows 11 Pro once a browser and a video call are running together. The M.2 2280 slot carries a 256GB SSD and speaks SATA only, so swapping in a larger drive is easy while swapping in a faster one is not. Ports and three displays
The rear panel carries two HDMI 2.0 outputs, a Gigabit Ethernet jack, one USB 3.2 Type-A, one USB 2.0 and the barrel power input. The front edge adds two more USB 3.2 Type-A ports, the USB-C port and a combo audio jack. Three monitors work, but not three 4K monitors: the two HDMI outputs run at 4K60, while BOSGAME’s display spec caps the USB-C output at 1080p60. The chassis measures about 5.0 by 4.5 by 1.6 inches, with a diamond-textured lid and vent slots along the sides for the internal fan. The included VESA bracket is the practical difference against the older BOSGAME E2, which has no mounting support at all. Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Ryzen 5 3501U a new processor?
The model number is new, the silicon is not. NotebookCheck compared it against the Ryzen 5 3500U that AMD released in 2019 and found the same four Zen+ cores, the same 2.1 GHz to 3.7 GHz clocks, the same Vega 8 graphics and the same 15W TDP.
How much RAM can the E2 Plus take?
Up to 32GB of DDR4 across two SODIMM slots, with 8GB fitted at the factory.
Can I fit an NVMe SSD?
No. The single M.2 2280 slot is wired for SATA, so it accepts a larger M.2 SATA drive in place of the 256GB one but not a faster NVMe drive.
How many 4K monitors can it drive?
The two HDMI 2.0 outputs handle 4K at 60Hz each. The USB-C display output is rated for 1080p at 60Hz, so a three-screen setup means two 4K panels and one 1080p panel.
Can it be mounted behind a monitor?
