The BOSGAME P6 is a one-pound desktop for office work, development, and light creative jobs, built around an 8-core AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX. The 6900HX is a Zen 3+ laptop chip from early 2022 with Radeon 680M graphics. BOSGAME did not fit a USB4 or Thunderbolt port. The first P6 units shipped with 32GB of memory. Ports, processor, and networking

The chassis measures about 5 x 5 x 2 inches and weighs 1.17 pounds (530 grams). Ventilation grilles run across the top and down both sides, so every port sits on the front or the back. The front carries two USB-A 3.2 ports, the single USB-C port (data, DisplayPort output, and Power Delivery), a combo headphone jack, and the power button. The back holds the barrel power input, two Ethernet ports, DisplayPort, HDMI 2.0, one more USB-A 3.2 port, and a USB-A 2.0 port. A VESA bracket and a power adapter ship in the box.

The AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX has 8 cores and 16 threads and boosts to 4.9GHz, well clear of the Intel N100 chips used in budget mini PCs. BOSGAME cools it with phase change thermal material under an active heatsink and rates the machine at under 36 decibels. Integrated AMD Radeon 680M graphics (RDNA 2) handle 4K video playback, light photo editing, and older or lighter games, but not demanding new releases. The 24GB of LPDDR5X runs at 4800MT/s and is soldered to the board, so the current 24GB build stays at 24GB for the life of the machine.

An Intel AX210 card supplies WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. BOSGAME notes that the Bluetooth 5.3 mode needs the current Intel driver; with the stock driver the radio runs as Bluetooth 5.2. BOSGAME’s listing rates the two Ethernet ports at 1Gbps, while GBAtemp’s review lists them as 2.5G. Wake-on-LAN and automatic power-on after an outage are both supported, which helps if the P6 runs as a small home server. HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C each drive a 4K display at 60Hz, so three monitors can run at once. The 1TB SSD is a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe drive. BOSGAME says a second M.2 NVMe drive can be added alongside it; it quotes both 4TB and 8TB as the total storage maximum.

GBAtemp: steady daily performance, awkward SSD access

Scarlet Bell at GBAtemp reviewed the 24GB P6 on a unit BOSGAME supplied and scored it 8/10. The reviewer went in with “some reasonable expectations” based on the related Ryzen 7 6800H and wrote: “Having daily driven the machine for a week or so, I can say it had no problem meeting them.” The review’s benchmark runs came in at 1928 single-core and 8574 multi-core in Geekbench 6, 6732 overall in PCMark 10, and 1871 in 3DMark Steel Nomad Light, with a 99.2% pass on the Steel Nomad Light stress test.

Gaming results tracked the age of the Radeon 680M. Monster Hunter Rise held above 100fps at 1080p on the Low preset and hovered around 65fps at 1080p Medium, which the reviewer called “the sweet spot for most.” Atelier Resleriana held 60fps at 1080p on the Standard preset with little headroom. The Echoes of Aincrad demo was “a step too far,” struggling to hold 30fps in town and dropping as low as 10fps in the open world with every setting at minimum.

The main complaint was access to the storage. The 1TB SSD is “the only replaceable part in the system,” and reaching it means removing a second layer of casing that carries the wireless antennas. The reviewer’s view: “A perfect case in my mind makes the user-replaceable parts as readily accessible as possible, and this one does fall short.” GBAtemp also listed the move from 32GB to 24GB of memory without a name change as a con, and closed with: “If you’re in need of a PC in these trying times, the P6 is a system worth considering.”

Where the P6 fits and where it does not

Eight Zen 3+ cores suit compiles, spreadsheets, and multi-monitor desk work, and GBAtemp’s reviewer used it as a daily driver for a week without problems. The weak points are graphics and memory: the Radeon 680M runs older and lighter games only, and the current 24GB build cannot grow.
