An M.2 SATA slot and a 2.5-inch bay in a five-inch box

At 5.04 x 5.04 x 2.05 inches the AK1 Plus tucks under a monitor or behind a TV, and it stays quiet through office work and media playback. The Intel N95 covers web browsing and document work, and the Intel UHD graphics push 4K video output for streaming. The M.2 SATA slot pairs with a bay for a 2.5-inch drive up to 2TB, so bulk storage goes in alongside the boot drive rather than replacing it.

On ports it has two USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, two HDMI, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and a combo audio jack, with no USB-C. That covers a couple of monitors and the usual peripherals, but there is no modern USB-C, Thunderbolt, or DisplayPort here.

Smooth Windows 11, mixed emulation results

GameHead Nes (“Awesome Budget N95 Mini PC | AK1 Plus Kamrui | It can Game”) found it ran Windows 11 smoothly and did better than expected for a budget N95 box, handling older titles and even Titanfall 2 on low settings. On emulation his results were mixed: Nintendo 64 and Sega Dreamcast ran well, while PlayStation 2 was inconsistent. He judged it worth its price as a light workstation or a living-room Windows machine.

GoTechGeek tested the 8GB model and framed it as a cost-effective everyday box for multitasking, media, and web browsing, with light gaming possible at adjusted settings. He flagged that 8GB of RAM is the limit for heavy browser use and recommended running Windows updates first. His takeaway was a sensible spare or secondary computer for the price.

Match the chip and RAM before you order

KAMRUI is a white-label brand that reuses and swaps Amazon listings. Several of the listings that used to carry it now sell different KAMRUI machines entirely (an Essenx E1 N150, an E3B Ryzen 5, a Pinova P1), and the listing that once collected owner reviews for it sells a different model now, so its star rating no longer describes this hardware. The cleaner current AK1 Plus listings are the N100 versions (for example the 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB N100 SKUs). Search for the KAMRUI AK1 Plus by your exact chip and RAM, and confirm the listing is new condition and the right model before ordering.

A quiet budget box with room for a second drive

The Intel N95 handles office work, streaming, and older or emulated games, and the M.2 SATA slot plus the 2.5-inch bay put a second drive in a five-inch box. Heavy gaming is out of reach, and the connectivity is dated (no USB-C, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2).

The brand is the larger caveat, since listings get swapped often and the chip you receive depends on the SKU you pick. To compare it with other models, use Starry Hope’s Mini PC Comparison Chart.
