MOREFINE M900
Published on
The MOREFINE M900 is a 5-inch square desktop for office work, a multi-monitor desk, a small home server, and 1080p gaming, with a front OCuLink port for adding a full graphics card later. The same chassis comes with five AMD chips, from the Ryzen 7 H 255 in the base model up to the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470. The memory sits in two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, so the 16GB in the Amazon builds can grow later. The base H 255 scores higher in PassMark’s CPU test than the pricier Ryzen AI 7 350, while the Ryzen AI chips add an NPU and newer graphics.

Chassis, ports, and expansion
The M900 is a silver aluminum box about 5 inches square and 2.3 inches tall, with a perforated grille along the side and a red power button on the front. The front panel carries a headphone jack, two 10Gbps USB-A ports, a USB4 port, and the OCuLink port. The back holds the power input, one more 10Gbps USB-A port, a USB 2.0 port, two 2.5GbE Ethernet ports, DisplayPort, HDMI 2.1, and the second USB4 port. MOREFINE rates the USB4 ports at 40Gbps with video output and Power Delivery, and it says HDMI, DisplayPort, and both USB4 ports can each drive a 4K display at 144Hz, four screens in total.
Inside are two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots in dual channel, with support for up to 96GB, and two M.2 2280 slots at PCIe 4.0 x4 for up to 8TB of storage. One slot is filled at the factory, so the second drive slot is free. MOREFINE cools the chip with dual fans, a vapor chamber, and a stacked fin array, plus a separate small fan over the SSD and memory, and it quotes a 35dB noise level (a maker figure, not a measurement). The box includes a 120W power adapter, an HDMI cable, and a VESA bracket for mounting the M900 behind a monitor or under a desk.
Wireless is Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.2 on the H 255, AI 5 340, and AI 7 350 builds sold on Amazon. MOREFINE lists Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for the Ryzen AI 9 365 and HX 470 builds on its store, and the HX 470 unit that ETA PRIME reviewed reported the same.
Choosing a processor
The base Ryzen 7 H 255 is a 2025 Ryzen 200 series part built on the same Zen 4 cores and Radeon 780M graphics that powered many 2024 mini PCs. It has eight full-speed cores and 16 threads, boosts to 4.9GHz, and posts a PassMark CPU Mark of about 28,700. That is the highest CPU score of the three Amazon options, which makes it the value pick for office work, compiling, and home-server jobs.
The Ryzen AI 5 340 (six cores, 12 threads, Radeon 840M) and Ryzen AI 7 350 (eight cores, 16 threads, Radeon 860M) are Zen 5 chips from AMD’s 2025 Ryzen AI 300 line. Half of their cores are the compact Zen 5c type, which run at lower clocks, so their PassMark scores land at about 19,600 and 25,000. They add a 50 TOPS NPU and newer RDNA 3.5 graphics; the 840M has 4 compute units and the 860M has 8, compared with 12 on the H 255’s 780M.
MOREFINE’s own store adds two more chips. The Ryzen AI 9 365 has 10 cores, 20 threads, and Radeon 880M graphics with 12 compute units, with a PassMark score of about 30,300, above the H 255. The Ryzen AI 9 HX 470, a Ryzen AI 400 series part with a 55 TOPS NPU, has 12 cores, 24 threads, and Radeon 890M graphics with 16 compute units. All five chips also support faster LPDDR5X memory, but the M900 uses socketed DDR5 (DDR5-5600 on the Ryzen AI builds; the H 255 build sold on Amazon lists DDR5-4800), which limits how fast the integrated graphics can run.
Reviewer Insights
ETA PRIME
ETA PRIME’s hands-on covers the M900 with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470, 32GB of DDR5-5600, and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, the top configuration on MOREFINE’s store rather than one of the three Amazon builds. He described the chassis as a full redesign of MOREFINE’s older units: “It’s a big step up from what they had before.” He also pointed out that two screws on the back let the bottom cover come off without removing the feet, and that a built-in fan blows over the SSD and memory.
Against the older Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, the HX 470 scored 2,711 to 2,617 in Geekbench single-core, a gain of 3.6% (3.1% in multi-core), and 4,335 to 4,122 in 3DMark Time Spy. Forza Horizon 6 at 1080p on the high preset with no upscaling averaged around 78fps, with the chip drawing about 54W in most games. He said the fan speed sounded normal for a mini PC and that temperatures stayed under about 73C in his testing.
Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p high with FSR on Balanced fell short of his expectations: “I was actually hoping for a little more out of this.” He attributed that to the socketed DDR5-5600, noting that the 890M usually runs with faster soldered LPDDR5X memory in other machines. The lowest frame rate he saw was around 54fps, and on a variable refresh rate display he said it still felt smooth. He ruled out 1440p on the HX 370 and HX 470 without heavy FSR, and he pointed to the front OCuLink and the two USB4 ports as the route to adding an external GPU.
Where the M900 fits
The H 255 build covers office work, development, and a small home server at the lowest price. The Ryzen AI 9 365 and HX 470 builds from MOREFINE’s store suit buyers who want more cores, the NPU, or stronger integrated graphics.
Buyers who want Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 on a budget configuration, or 1440p gaming without an external GPU, should look elsewhere. For another Ryzen 7 H 255 box, compare the Beelink SER9 Max H 255, or browse the Mini PC Comparison Chart.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I upgrade the RAM in the MOREFINE M900?
Yes. The M900 uses two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots in dual channel. MOREFINE lists up to 96GB for every M900 build; ETA PRIME said the HX 470 unit he tested can take up to 128GB. Amazon configurations ship with 16GB; MOREFINE’s store also sells 32GB and barebone builds.
Which processor should I pick for the M900?
The Ryzen 7 H 255 has the highest PassMark CPU score of the three Amazon options and the largest integrated GPU of the three (Radeon 780M, 12 compute units). The Ryzen AI 5 340 and AI 7 350 add a 50 TOPS NPU and newer RDNA 3.5 graphics with fewer compute units. On MOREFINE’s store, the Ryzen AI 9 365 (10 cores, Radeon 880M) beats the H 255 in PassMark, and the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 is the fastest choice overall.
Does the MOREFINE M900 support an external GPU?
Yes. It has an OCuLink port on the front and two 40Gbps USB4 ports, one front and one rear. Either route works with an external GPU enclosure, and OCuLink gives the graphics card a direct PCIe link.
How many monitors can the MOREFINE M900 drive?
Four. HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort, and both USB4 ports each output video, and MOREFINE rates each one for 4K at 144Hz.
How much storage can I add to the M900?
The M900 has two M.2 2280 slots at PCIe 4.0 x4, with one filled at the factory. MOREFINE lists up to 8TB in total across both slots. There is no 2.5-inch SATA bay.
Is the MOREFINE M900 good for gaming?
At 1080p, yes, with tuning. ETA PRIME measured about 78fps in Forza Horizon 6 at 1080p high on the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 build, but Cyberpunk 2077 ran below his expectations and 1440p needs heavy FSR. The OCuLink port lets you add a desktop graphics card in an external enclosure for more.
Can I mount the M900 behind a monitor?
Yes. A VESA bracket ships in the box, so the M900 can hang on the back of a VESA-compatible monitor or under a desk.
