Getorli GT106 lifestyle

The Getorli GT106 is a five-inch-square desktop for multi-monitor office work, a small home server, or gaming through an external graphics card. It runs AMD’s Ryzen 7 H 255, an 8-core Zen 4 chip with Radeon 780M graphics, and has an OCuLink port on the side for an eGPU dock. The 16GB configuration ships with one memory stick in a two-slot machine, so plan on buying a second stick if you want the full speed of the integrated graphics.

Connectivity graphic: WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports and six USB ports

The GT106 measures about 5.2 by 5.4 by 1.9 inches, with a silver body under a black lid, a recessed vent channel along the top of each side, and a slotted intake around the base. The front carries the power button, two USB-A 3.2 ports at 10Gbps, one USB4 Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack and a reset pinhole. The rear holds the 19V barrel input, the second USB4 port, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, two USB-A 2.0 ports and the two 2.5GbE jacks. Getorli rates both USB4 ports for 40Gbps, 8K output and 100W Power Delivery, and quotes four 4K displays at once across HDMI, DisplayPort and the two USB4 ports.

The OCuLink port sits on one side panel, under the vent channel. It carries a direct PCIe link to an external graphics card dock, and Getorli warns that it is not hot-pluggable: connect or disconnect the dock only with the PC powered off.

A VESA bracket ships in the box. Cooling is a fan over a heatsink with dual copper heat pipes. Windows 11 Pro comes preinstalled, and Getorli covers the unit with a one-year warranty.

Getorli also sells the Glorlin GT105 under its Glorlin brand. It has the same rear port order, two USB4 ports and dual 2.5GbE, but no OCuLink port.

Ryzen 7 H 255 performance and memory

Performance tier graphic: Power User, for development, multitasking and 1080p gaming at medium settings

The Ryzen 7 H 255 has 8 cores and 16 threads, a 3.8GHz base clock and a 4.9GHz boost, and scores 28,223 on PassMark’s CPU Mark. It belongs to AMD’s Ryzen 200 series, which carries the same Zen 4 cores and Radeon 780M graphics as the Ryzen 8000 chips before it. AMD’s Zen 5 Ryzen AI 300 chips are faster in both CPU and graphics work.

The Radeon 780M is a 12-compute-unit RDNA 3 integrated GPU that scores 6,806 on PassMark’s G3D mark. It has no memory of its own and draws from system RAM, so its frame rates depend on memory bandwidth, and dual-channel memory doubles that bandwidth. The platform takes up to 256GB across both slots. Getorli’s own store sells a 32GB configuration with two sticks.

Storage runs on two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slots rated to 4TB in total. The shipped 1TB drive fills one, and the second is open. There is no 2.5-inch bay.

Customer Reviews

Amazon buyers rate it 4.4 stars across 48 ratings. Nathan, who has a 32GB unit, replaced a full-size Dell desktop with it and runs Photoshop, PowerDirector, Reason, Office and Teams across two monitors; he wrote that “Programs launch almost instantly, multitasking is effortless, and the system remains quiet even under heavy workloads.” W. Ellsworth wrote: “No heat or noise issues while rendering videos or normal use (less noise than my laptop).”

Bob Ehlers runs Ubuntu 26.04 with a 4K and a 1080p monitor and called it “Not a gaming computer, but I edit audio and video painlessly.” Chris s. wiped Windows and installed Bazzite to use it as a cheap Steam machine. JohnnyCaps pointed to the OCuLink port as the upgrade route for the integrated graphics. A buyer posting as Amazon Customer noted the fan starts spinning at around 10 percent CPU load, describing the volume as “OK, definitely not the loudest and not the cheapest fan used.”

Austin returned his unit after about 20 crashes, writing that the event log showed “The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) hardware failed to execute a TPM command” over and over.

Should you buy it?

The GT106 fits a desk that runs office or creative work across up to four displays, a small Linux or home server, or a gaming setup built around an OCuLink graphics dock. Owners run Photoshop, video editing, and music production on it and describe it as quiet. Dual 2.5GbE, two USB4 ports, and a free second M.2 slot leave room to grow. Budget for a second 16GB stick so the Radeon 780M gets dual-channel memory.

Skip it if you want full integrated-graphics speed without buying more memory, need WiFi 6E or 7, or want more than a one-year warranty. For a faster Zen 5 chip with OCuLink and two USB4 ports, look at the MINISFORUM AI X1 Pro with a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. If you do not need OCuLink, the Glorlin GT105 has the same two USB4 ports and dual 2.5GbE. The mini PC comparison chart lists more options.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Getorli GT106 run an external graphics card?

Yes, through the side OCuLink port and an OCuLink eGPU dock. The dock holds a desktop graphics card and needs its own power supply.

What RAM does the Getorli GT106 take?

DDR5 laptop SO-DIMMs (262-pin), in two slots rated to 256GB in total. For dual-channel memory, add a second stick with the same capacity as the installed 16GB module.

Does the Getorli GT106 run Linux?

Yes. One owner runs Ubuntu 26.04 on it, and another runs Bazzite. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, so a Linux install means wiping or dual-booting the shipped drive, or installing to a drive in the free M.2 slot.

What is the difference between the Getorli GT106 and the GT105?

The GT106 uses the Ryzen 7 H 255 and adds a side OCuLink port in a silver and black housing. The GT105 uses the Ryzen 7 8745HS or Ryzen 7 PRO 8845HS in a dark gray housing without OCuLink. Both share two USB4 ports, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, dual 2.5GbE and two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots.

Can the Getorli GT106 mount behind a monitor?

Yes, with the VESA bracket in the box.
